So those tricky folks in our R&D department whipped up an example project, and we’ve put together a bundle for it.

This project makes the DragonTail robot chassis capable of navigating its environment, using a panning micro servo with a long-range infrared sensor (GP2Y0A02YK0F) on it and 2 short-range tactile sensors to get around whatever is in the way. The Freeduino (or Arduino) setup makes for a simple build without the need for a dedicated motor controller, and we’ve even put together some sample code (under the Resources tab).
