Solarbotics Raspberry Pi V1 SAFE

Stray cables, solder blobs, nuts and bolts can cause shorts and bring harm to your board. You wouldn't want anything to happen to it, so give it a SAFE place to live. The Raspberry SAFE comes two different flavours: Red and Blue Raspberry (both Transparent). We have an instruction manual located under our Documentation tab that will walk you through putting it together. Design files are also available as the design is open source.

Features:

• Cutout on the backplate for running a 26-pin GPIO ribbon cable (folded at 90º) or other wiring out the back
• Space inside above the board for a "plate" or "shield" (whatever you want to call it)
• Lock-down "Tetris" piece to keep your Pi from shifting about in the case
• Cutouts for the Audio jack, RCA video jack, HDMI port, Micro USB port, Ethernet port, Dual USB Port, and SD Card slot
• Modular design with room for expansion for new faceplates and lids for multiple applications
• Plenty of breathing room for the CPU/GPU
• Room for a USB Mini-B to Micro adapter to fit
• OSHW (Open Source Hardware) Kit
• Base and Top plate are backward compatible with regular SAFE design

• 8 - LRF (Little Rubber Feet)
• 7 - #4-40 Hex nuts
• 7 - #4-40 bolts
• 1 - Set of acrylic (consisting of 6 acrylic pieces)

Accessories available:

• 2GB microSD card (with SD adapter)
• VESA mount available which allows you to mount the Raspberry SAFE on the back of an LCD monitor
• Wide VESA mount also available for mounting to larger TVs
