We've added new products to our website! Here's a quick look!

ESP-01 Programmer / Adapter Module

Programming an ESP0-01 (or any other ESP8266 variant) can be a bit of a button-toggling dance even after you get it wired up correctly. This handy little module makes it so much easier, by making completely buttonless and comes with a usb connector as well! Plug in your ESP-01 and use the standard ESP toolchain to do the programming. Just flip the switch to "prog" and start the programming procedure.

You'll definitely want one of these if you've ever had to breadboard a quicky-programmer adapter for these more than once!

Specifications:

  • 4.5-5.5VDC power input
  • 300mA working current
  • 5V USB-TTL compatible (3.3V Logic Level)
  • Selectable switch between serial and programming mode

Wednesday Cool Links, Announcements and ...

We were at the San Mateo MakerFaire, and were representing for BPS breadboards. They've announced their winners, and the first place went to  Elizabeth from Houston, Texas (age 11) (and we like unicorns too): Now that we have established our stance towards robotic (roboCorns) and regular unicorns (unicornus vulgaris), here's some links. They are just […]

Sumobot Circuits

We've been having fun playing with the L293D driver chip. It's one of those things to see how much you can make it do by itself (like with any BEAM application!). Grant McKee has been experimenting with some simple additions to the chip to make it (unto itself) a suitable brain for a simple mini-sumo […]
