Well, it appears that some people around the office are a bit grumpy after having to come back from their nice long winter hibernation. But it's the New Year! Time to feel awesome and optimistic and bubbly about the upcoming year full of possibilities. That's okay though, they just need to be injected with a solid 5 JoyAmps of current through their HappyCircuits to get going. While I work on that, check out the first batch of cool links for 2013:

Scheduled Website downtime
I suppose the Internet tubes need cleaning once in a while... Our ISP is scheduling some downtime for upgrades on January 27, 09:00-12:00 UTC (that's 2am to 5am Mountain time here where Solarbotics is). Sorry for the hiccup!
3D Printed frame for Line Follower
Ohhh, we like 3D printers. We're working with the local Protospace to fund-raise for a Makerbot. I want to see one of these Line Follower chassis (especially as some of the parts look particularly familiar!). LOVE open source hardware!
Zendulums for Japan
Effective immediately, all the proceeds from the sale of Zendulum kits will be going to the Red Cross efforts in Japan. We'll change up the Zendulum laser artwork to note it as such shortly, and post the new pic. (Done!) Fractured Hinomaru inspired by James White's "Help Japan" poster.
