What's new at Solarbotics? We've just released our Sumovore Baseplate Upgrade Kit which will let you replace the mounting tape & zip-tie restraints with a black powder-coated steel baseplate!
This upgrade makes the Sumovore much more robust, and also increases the mass for a more competitive edge.
Note that all new Sumovores from Solarbotics will now have this upgrade as a standard part of the kit.

The night before WCRG, and all through the office, not a creature was stirring...except two dozen mini-sumo robots - AAAHH! Thanks to Alberta Printed Circuits, we were able to sponsor a mini-sumo workshop to build 24 robots to compete in the next day's Western Canadian Robot Games.
