StrongBad victorious again!

Our trip to RoboMaxx was great fun, and StrongBad did it again, winning first place in the Advanced Mini-Sumo competition! The GM6 gear motors did their job, rarely failing to give StrongBad the ability to power opponents out of the ring.
We also entered our Sumovore Sumo robot kit (officially available in a day or so), but after winning several matches, it had to go head-to-head with the 4WD StrongBad and lose. Still, our initial showing of the Sumovore went quite well. It was good to see face-to-face a good many BEAM roboticists, and see what new innovations are coming out of the hobby robotics community. May issue of Discover Magazine
Mr. Tilden informs me that his experiments with 40 B.I.O.Bugs in the desert of Whitesands, New Mexico will be detailed in the May issue of Discover Magazine. I've seen some of his personal pics of the experiment, and it is indeed impressive photography. Keep an eye out for this issue!
