Cute project in NYC with a friendly little cardboard robot that interacts with the "gruff" population of NYC ...And if you look closely, there's something about the wheels that look familiar!
Solarbotics Ltd. is pleased to announce the re-unveiling of Solarbotics.net. Solarbotics.net is a BEAM Community Server that we, at Solarbotics are proud to sponsor.
Our involvement with Solarbotics.net is as a hardware sponsor - we are providing the server hardware and the bandwidth for this project. It is being managed at arm's-length by Eric Seale, of "BEAM from the Ground Up", with contributions from ourselves at Solarbotics, Wilf Rigter, Bruce Robinson, and many, many others.
Besides being a repository of BEAM knowledge, Solarbotics.net is also providing free web hosting to people for their BEAM-related projects, with no banner advertising, no pop-ups, pop-unders, SPAM lists, or any other obtrusive advertising.
It's in our interest to ensure a strong BEAM community, and this is one of the best ways we know how to do so. So head on over, and give it a look - it's an impressive collection of information!
