Are you located in or around Calgary? Do you like cool projects and neat-o people making neat-o things? Are you looking for something mega-awesome to do this weekend?
If you answered yes to all (or any) of these questions, we have some good news for you: The Maker Faire Calgary is happening this weekend. There'll be lots of hands-on activities and crazy things to see from the some of the best artists, developers, and geeks in the city.
Solarbotics will have a booth too, so be sure to drop on by to see some of our latest projects. This'll be one of the best events of the year, so make sure you come by and check out the action. We'll see you there!

Zendulums for Japan - results!
We've wrapped up our "Zendulums for Japan" support drive, and we're happy to announce we've sold 84 kits for a total of $2,396.07. A donation of $2400 is being processed to Red Cross Japan. Thanks to all for assisting in our little effort to give some help!

Yup, the Solarbotics.NET server we sponsor for the BEAM community is now online, offering more storage, RAM, speed, and open-source software to make your .net experience... better! Victoria Day Holiday
Monday May 24 is Victoria Day in Canada. We'll be using the old Queen's Birthday as an excuse to twiddle our toes in the grass and watch robots roam free. We'll be back to work Tuesday morning, bright and early!
