Well, we survived the battlefield of 2014 Calgary Entertainment Expo with no human, animal or machinery losses (although with an apparent vocabulary shift towards geekery). In any case, running a double booth was a lot of fun and a lot of work, which makes it satisfying and tiring at the same time. And educating: we've learned that the Golem, one of our centerpieces and creation of Shannon Chappell, was not only a sculpture and a costume, but also a landmark ("Meet you at the Golem!" type of thing).

 

The show is getting bigger and crazier every year, and there's a lot of interesting costumes and wares to see. All in all, it's a place full of people passionate about cool and sometimes weird stuff, which you can find more of at our Flickr stream:

Friday New Product: Goggles and NeoPixel...

So when we created the Arc Reactor project to show off at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, we also quickly put together our version of NeoPixel Goggles. We now carry the goggles and NeoPixels that fit them, as well as two other sizes of these amazing addressable RGB LED  rings.
