Russian ARDX PreviewПримечание переводчика: первый раз перевел - не поняли, второй раз перевел - не поняли, третий раз перевел - аж сам понял! (что электроника это круто), а они все нет...

If you can't read the above sentence, don't worry - you can rest assured that your browser has not all of the sudden switched to Russian-o-vision. Nope, that was entirely intentional. You see, by some extreme coincidence, Solarbotics currently has a Russian engineer and a graphic designer on hand, and over the past month or so they've worked together to do a comprehensive translation of the ARDX kit. So if you have a hankerin' for some Arduino goodness with dose of Cyrillic baked in, this is exactly what you need. We're actually pretty excited about this, because as far as we can tell, this is a world-premier for making Oomlout's awesome tutorial kit completely and natively accessible to a Russian audience. If you'd like to check it for yourself, you can download a PDF copy of the documentation here, free of charge. Even better yet, we can offer technical support for the kit in Russian as well. We don't know about you, but that's pretty awesome. And Russian.

We don't know about you, but danceability should be a priority on every robot's feature list. Check out some video […]

New: The Ardweeny BackPack!

We've been playing with the Pick and Place machine, and thought about new projects. This one, besides just being plain handy, offered us a simple project to start adding surface-mount parts to! The Ardweeny is proving to be a popular way to make a breadboard-friendly Arduino-clone, but after the prototyping is done, you still have […]

Heated Car Seat Teardown and Repair

Here's a little makeover of an inexpensive aftermarket heated car seat heating pad that stopped working. Designed to activate and warm up when sat upon, the electronics face a fair amount of abuse: since the seat is a soft frame, the wires inside constantly move and flex with the body. They are also subject to […]
