Tesla - not the car - invented lots of things. One of the more fun items is the Tesla Coil, which is a transformer that operates on the principle of resonance (resonance transformer), producing high-temperature and high-pressure plasma. Sounds boring?
Let's put it this way: this tiny device can wirelessly transmit electricity, illuminate fluorescent lamps, and produce nifty little electrical arcs. Zappy zap zap!

- 2 x 105 monolithic capacitor
- 1 x 8*8 self-locking switch
- 2 x 10K resistor
- 1 x 15*10*20 small heat sink

- 1 x BD243
- 1 x Bubble
- 4 x M2*4 screw
- 4 x M2*7 double pass copper column
While this device can be started with 9V battery (not included), to produce an arc, the working voltage needs 12V. And of course, all necessary high-voltage safety precautions should be in place.
