The BlinkM Smart LED is a networkable and fully programmable full-colour RGB LED. This means you can link up to 127 of these units in a chain, and individually control the colour and intensity of each one. Or, just pre-program it with what you want it to do, connect it to 5VDC and stand back and watch it do its thing!
Here's what it features:
8000mcd (bright!) RGB LED
140° viewing angle
Set colours with 24-bit control using RGB or HSB specifications
Randomized colour flow with ranges based on previous colour (no strange colour transitions)
Control fads with variable duration timing & fade speeds
18 built-in light scripts (sequences)
Can store scripts of up to 49 commands
Stand-alone operation - no microcontroller needed for script playback
Compatible with TWI / I2C networking command structure
Supports addressing of up to 127 BlinkM units per chain
Listens to "EVERYBODY DO THIS:" type commands on network chain
Able to have network address reconfigured
5V TTL standard inputs
Sample code available for Basic Stamp, Freeduino SB / Arduino compatible (plugs right into board)

Looking to build the smallest, handiest, bread-board friendly Arduino-compatible? The Ardweeny fits on the back of the included ATmega328P, taking up no more valuable breadboard space than the microcontroller itself!
Throw this bundle together to have one of the first Arduino-compatible Mini-Sumo kits out there. Get your trusty soldering iron out, build the Sumovore and Sumoshield Kits, then toss the Arduino on-top, program it with the supplied code, and watch the Sumo/Line-following madness ensue.
