DESCRIPTION

The DE-SWADJ is the adjustable version of the "SW0XX" step-down voltage regulators. Using the same form-factor as a standard 78LMXX style regulator, it is a much better way to give regulated voltage to your project. Using switch-mode circuitry, it chops the input voltage down to the level you desire via the handily adjustment screw (no voltage-divider resistors to tweak!). It has integrated decoupling capacitors, so external capacitors are not generally necessary.

DE-SWADJ can deliver a maximum of 10 Watts at the voltage you select.

Specifications:

  • 1.25 to 13V adjustable output (assuming input voltage is higher than desired output)
  • 78xx IC compatible footprint
  • 30VDC maximum voltage input (for input voltages greater than 25V minimum of a 40mA current draw required for stable regulated voltage)
  • 1.3V dropout voltage
  • 10W maximum power dissipation
  • 1A continuous current (1.5A pulse < 5s)
  • Up to 92% efficiency
  • Less than 2% ripple
  • 5.5g
