The PICAXE-18 Tutorial Kit is a flexible PICAXE-18 development board that is ideal for the classroom or self study.

Description [Hide]

The PICAXE-18 Tutorial Kit is a low cost starter kit for 18-pin PICAXE microcontrollers. Each kit includes a fully assembled tutorial board that is packed with peripherals that can demonstrate the versatility and functionality of the PICAXE-18M2 IC (included).

The 18M2 device replaces all of the older 18/18A/18M/18X parts and so gives 18X equivalent memory capacity (2048 bytes, up to 1800 lines of program) at the same price as the older 256 byte 18A/18M – so that is 8x the memory capacity of the older parts for no extra cost!

Each tutorial board includes an 8-segment display, 2 general purpose push button switches, a CDS Photo Cell, and a ULN2003A high power output driver.

Kit Includes:

  • 1 x Fully Assembled PICAXE-18 Tutorial Board complete with a PICAXE-18M2 IC
  • 1 x Serial Download Cable
  • 1 x 3-AA Battery Box
  • 4 x Adhesive Rubber feet
  • 1 x CD-Rom (Software and Manual)

Specifications:

  • Board Size: 2.6" (6.5cm) X 2" (5cm)
  • Input Power: 4.5V to 5V

CAUTION: The 9 Volt battery snap included is for connection to the 3xAA cell battery box ONLY. Connecting the battery snap to a 9 Volt battery WILL destroy the PICAXE chip and may damage other components.
