This is a great option for a robotic platform with differential steering. Many mobile platforms use two separate wheels and motors for steering and a third wheel or post for support. This caster makes a great compact, low friction support for any kind of robotic platform.

The height of these ingenious little casters can be adjusted between 11mm and 37mm just by how you assemble them.
