Special effects, props, or just messages to scare off the porch-pirates - these are all simple applications of the Audio FX Sound board. No additional microcontroller is required - it's pretty much stand-alone except for needing an amplified speaker and power supply!

Specifications:

  • 2MB Storage - that's sufficient for a few minutes of playback. Perfect for sound effects!
  • Peak playback capability of 44.1KHz 16 bit stereo
  • Compressed OGG Vorbis or uncompressed WAV compatible
  • 3~5.5VDC required
  • Configured as USB Mass-storage. Plug it in and drag'n'drop your audio files to the folder.
  • Stereo line out jack for traditional 1/8" headphone plug connectivity
  • 11 trigger-ports. Set each switch/button to activate a specific file
  • 5 trigger method effects - Set the behavior of the file trigger by the file naming convention. No additional programming required.
