Redpark surprised the world by releasing a RS-232 adapter to Apple's iThing (iPhone, iPod Touch, & iPad), now they're doing it again with this Ethernet to iProduct cable!
So, you have some sorta iThing that you want to plug into something that would usually have no business being plugged into an iThing, eh? Well, if the non-iThing object you want to connect with has a RJ-45 connector, you're in luck.
This 6 foot long serial cable can connect the likes of an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to the likes of a console port on Cisco networking gear. Keep in mind, though, that this is wired specifically to Cisco console port specifications, so it's not a proper ethernet cable.
This was designed for use with the "Get Console" app available on Apple's App Store, and currently isn't compatible with other iOS apps.
