Yes! Phones refuse to work and we are currently beating them into submission with a complete trust in our victory over them. Also, just to let you know, we haven't fallen off the face of the planet, we are just very busy getting ready to the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, which will take place this weekend, starting Friday. Answer: If it was a chocolately Easter Egg, yes! Yes, quite possibly that was the worst segue of the season, but moving on... Solarbotics will be closed on Friday April 14, 2006 for the Easter long weekend. We will be open on Monday, April 17, 2006 and all will be business as usual.
Make Something Useless Useful Update
We've been trying to Make Something Useless Useful since 2012. In order to do that we've been donating a percentage of past sales of the Useless Box to Plan Canada. In year 2013 $5,000 went to Plan Canada' Gift of Hope School Construction in Honduras.
BEP Application: Pummer
The following instructions detail how to build a simple pummer using a BC2 (Bicore) BEP (Bicore Experimenter PCB). A pummer is a solar powered self activating LED flasher. The difference between a pummer and a BLFNAR (blinky light for no apparent reason) is that a pummer has a soft turn off, which means that it turns on fast, but slowly fades away.
