Solarbotics has supplied some tech bits and pieces for the recent ART HACK II, an intensive artistic boot camp led by Visiting Artist, Raul Nieves (Blablablab, Practipo Barcelona), where students were building open source the 3D printers.
We've been a big fan of Openbeam for a long time, and when Terence Tam started producing 3D printers using this material, we were hopeful that this would be a great fit for his operation. Nice material, great engineering - what could go wrong? LOTS.
