Office Reorganization Extravanganza!

Solarbotics OfficeUsually I'd take the opportunity of the weekly newspost to show you something that would shake the very foundations of your soul. Y'know, by showing you the latest and greatest toys or by announcing sales and/or specials.  But instead, I will show you what we've been toiling away on over the past week. You know how we mentioned we were doing a bit of reorganization around the office? Well, to the side you'll see an image of a fruit of our labour. (On a side note, please forgive me, the photographer, for the horrible horrible picture. I can only shoot tiny things on white backgrounds, and even that skill can be questionable).

So here you see an isle of our massive, massive warehouse where we keep all the product for both HVW and Solarbotics. See all those wonderful grey shelves? Here's a secret - they're not so wonderful. It took many many hours of awkwardly bent arms and dropped bolts and uttered curses to complete these over-glorified holders of product. And this is just a tiny corner of our space, for several days in a row we had all sorts of meyham unravelling in every imaginable space.

Next week we'll have something more exciting and substantial for you. And if we don't... Expect another shoddy last-minute photograph as filler content. Have a great weekend everyone!

This position feedback allows for very long stride lengths without the use of mechanical stops or springs.

BEP Documentation Update

We've tweaked the documentation for the BEP-MSE1 "Miller Solarengine" to correct a minor error (if you wanted to use the MVSE modification, this is the correct on), and added some circuit specs. Application notes for all the modules are in the works- stay tuned!

HexPummer Lanterns!

Our K HP HexPummer has always been a good, steady kit, but once we got our laser-cutter, we started experimenting... and was it ever neat to tuck one of these into a faux Japanese-style lantern! After upgrading two of the four LEDs with super-crazy-mega-bright LEDs, this solar-powered night-activated light show is quite a cool decoration, […]
