Time for a big product update! Again, we're thrilled with the Grove line of microcontroller-interconnected thingies, so heres a few more Grove-compatibles, SD cards, and a lonesome piezo speaker:
As Panasonic is no longer manufacturing their line of Sunceram solar cells, we've been on the hunt for suitable replacements. Here's our first find - the SCC3733!
It's a polycrystaline cell in an epoxy casing, so it's a bit heavier, but much, much less prone to breaking or burning off of the solder-pads. It's also easily the match for the venerable SC3733, only falling a bit behind the SC3733 in low-light conditions. Try them out - we're quite happy with them!

You will not believe what happened today. Our boss showed up to work today wearing a red shirt with beige pants. BEIGE PANTS! Also, he just so happens to be leaning on the brand-new laser that was delivered not 20mins ago. It's a 60W Eplilog Helix (which you may have figured out for yourself), and […]
Remember those bad-boy wheels you saw on Strongbad? Well, they're now available! But be warned - we don't have the sleeve to fix the 2mm shaft to 1/8" hole diameter gap, so you'll have to improvise something yourself. Otherwise, your robot will have a bit of a lope to its roll!
This mini-sumo design by Jeremy Bloyd-Peshkin features our wheels, and one of our favourite building materials, Sintra. We can't laser-cut sintra (PVC=bad stuff when burned), but milling it works well, as this builder shows. The asymmetric motor layout works, as proven by this contest-winning design (scroll to the bottom of the page).
