August 31, 2012

Hello again everyone, this is Yana, the token Russian here at Solarbotics that brought you a newspost a little while ago. Here's a hypothetical question: what if you were asked to do a product post, again? As if one graceful and unexpected appearance two weeks ago was not enough for the audience to cherish those lovely moments until, say, next year?! That seems to be a sufficient time period to produce some myths, legends, develop necessary rituals and other attributes of a well-developed cult around my wonderful presence… But noOoOo… So here are the results of backbreaking effort in the name of the proletariat exploiters that stand with the whip behind my back:

45047-11394-01.jpg Frequency Generator Kit
$49.95
Generate waves in your circle of friends with the FG805 Frequency Generator, & while it may not make you all that popular, your geek cred will rise a few hundred points! This affordable Freq. Gen. kit will give you Sine, Square, Triangular, Ramp & Staircase shaped waveforms from 0-100/200kHz.
4988 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier
$13.50
The A4988 stepper motor driver carrier is a breakout board for Allegro’s easy-to-use A4988 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver. The driver features adjustable current limiting, overcurrent protection, and five different microstep resolutions.
60119-11366-01.jpg "Big Red" Enclosure
$7.95
This big, bright red plastic enclosure, that we affectionately call "Big Red", will give your projects the protection (and attention) they deserve. It will also keep your electronics safe and sound indoors or outdoors as it includes a convenient weatherproof seal!
35095-IMG_4451.jpg Digital Infra-Red Rangefinding DIRRS+ Long Range
$19.50
This is the long-range version of the standard DIRRS+ serial-communicating IR distance sensor featuring Sharp technology.
3-conductor Connector Cable, 20cm
$1.50
Great for passing beefy signals, or for just connecting LED strips together!
4-pin JST SM Plug & Cable Assembly
$1.50
These 4-pin JST SM pigtail connectors mate perfectly with the RGB LED strips. They also make a good general purpose connector for any project. Each pack comes with one male and one female connector. The wire leads are 6 inches long and are term
22091-IMG_9928.jpg Solarbotics Pico Linear Servo Voltage Adapter Kit (5V to 3.6V)
$1.00
Like some electronics, this linear motion Pico servo doesn't like running at over 5V. Even slightly less is better. This adapter board adds a bit of voltage drop to a 5/6V system to make your servo happy.

So much work. I'm sooooo tired. I will now retreat for some refreshing and elaborate adoration, my pedestal awaits, thank you very much. See y'all in a week. Or seven… Yawn…
