New Calgary Robot Club

October 16, 2001

This Thursday (October 18) is the inaugural meeting of the Western Canadian Robot Society, Room MD213 7PM at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

We're hoping to revive the interest in the local robot scene, as Calgary already has one of the biggest robot games in the world, and it's a killer center of technology. What more could you need for a robot club?

At minimum, there will be a full display of the new Mark Tilden "BIOBug" toy line, a demo in CPLDs and a doorprize sponsored by Solarbotics!

We're sorry to say that the RM1 is no-more. The RM1 is dead; long live the RM1. (I never understood that phrase...) All hail the RM1a! […]

Sherline Price Increase

Hey - don't blame us! We're just the messenger. Actually, Sherline has kept prices constant for the last 3 or 4 years, and were overdue for the increase. They're quality machines, and simply put - they're not cheap crap. If you're doing miniature machining, you'll be hard pressed to find a better machine with as […]
