New Calgary Robot Club

This Thursday (October 18) is the inaugural meeting of the Western Canadian Robot Society, Room MD213 7PM at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

We're hoping to revive the interest in the local robot scene, as Calgary already has one of the biggest robot games in the world, and it's a killer center of technology. What more could you need for a robot club?

At minimum, there will be a full display of the new Mark Tilden "BIOBug" toy line, a demo in CPLDs and a doorprize sponsored by Solarbotics!

We've been running around like crazy people (which comes disturbingly easy to most of us) getting ready for the Vancouver Maker Faire, which many of our staff (including your humble poster of news) will be attending. So you'll have to hang […]

Postal Strike - Important Note for Shipp...

Update: Looks like Canada Post is doing a rotating strike, so only one city will be affected at a time. This means that, most likely, orders shipped via postal methods will only be delayed 2-3 days. Purolator and UPS options are not impacted, and have no delays. Ok class, fictional robotic history refresher course 101: […]
