The Resources section, which is a new and growing portion of our site to display all things BEAM, now contains a brand new project that can be built off of the Solarbotics BEP (Bicore Experimenters PCB).
Introducing... BEP Application #5 -- The Turbot.
This extremely popular bot is a milestone in the amazing combination of intelligence, strength and mechanics. It will climb over, plough through, or just plain ol' destroy-everything-in-sight; all the while being phototropic!

Adam Conus sent us a nice little message about his antweight combat robot The Fly.: Western Allied Robotics is kicking off another year of antweight combat events and I need new motors. Well, what a pleasant surprise - a large truck dropped by today and delivered our shipment of GM10 gear motors! They're $12.00/ea or $9.50/ea USD in pairs ($15.50/ea or $12.75/ea in pairs for Canadians) - much less expensive than converting nanoservos!
