Just a quick note for those of you who have been trying to build the SC1 Servocores with the 0.01uF capacitors as listed in the parts list. That's an error! 0.1uF is just fine. Documentation has been revised accordingly. Sorry for the error!
Well, last week I told you that I'd have (and I quote) "something more exciting and substantial for you." So I'd like to take this opportunity (on behalf of the other fine folks at Solarbotics) to welcome the newest addition to the team, Tom! He'll be heading up purchasing and finding neat new toys to bring you.
This'd be the part where we enlighten you as to the awesome things he's found that we'll be making available soon. But instead I've been advised by powers-that-be that this information is classified and secret. But you want something a tad bit more... Tangible, eh? Well, here you go. It's an itty-bitty cropped image with no context or specific information, and we dare you to unravel our plans for wold domination from this one bit of bendy metal.

I missed the full segment of this story last weeks on "Discovery Channel's @discovery.ca" program, but fortunately, the've put the segment online at their website. I seems that JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories - NASA essentially) is working on a solar-powered, single-footed robot frog. This seems like a GREAT idea for extra-terrestrial planet-surface locomotion. Check out […]
