As some of you know, ActiveTech is changing locations and merging operations with Solarbotics. The retail store is going to take the space where the former RnD lab was, and we've been working hard to prepare that area for the move-in.
Here are some pictures of transforming the lab into retail space. First, all of the internal walls needed to be torn down:

Then we repainted the walls with a nice grey.
Start bringing in product shelves. It is going to be Asian-store-style, top-to-bottom-crammed-with-product tight!

The mezzanine behind the lab has also been rearranged from random storage space - to product storage space.

Well, it's that time of the season to shut down and spend time with the family. Solarbotics will be closing December 21, 2001 at 4pm, and we'll reopen January 3, 2002.
