Boy, there's work to do on new websites. Link checking, spell checking, image links - all sorts of crap that doesn't have anything to do directly with robots! Even so, we've been able to put up a few new images of Mark Tilden's "Projectorbots" on the Photovores page. Yuck. Must do something about how hard it is to add new images to this databaseÂ…
Other than that, there's a pair of new links on the links subpage. One is for the Discover Magazine article called "Biobots", which is sample from the new book "Robo Sapiens" by Peter Menzel & Faith D'Aluisio. The other is for a technical web page from the Los Alamos National Laboratories, which details the work of Jan Frigo and Mark Tilden on the Satbotproject.

Cool project
Neil Sandstrom from the BEAM mailing list recently posted a notice about his "ShokHead" circuit built from our tutorial. We've got in an inventory of Grand Wing Servo S03N standard servos. These pack quite a bit of power, and prove to be pretty good for standard servo applications. We're sorry to say that the RM1 is no-more. The RM1 is dead; long live the RM1. (I never understood that phrase...) All hail the RM1a! […]
