Are you located in or around Calgary? Do you like cool projects and neat-o people making neat-o things? Are you looking for something mega-awesome to do this weekend?
If you answered yes to all (or any) of these questions, we have some good news for you: The Calgary Mini Maker Faire is happening this weekend. There'll be lots of hands-on activities and crazy things to see from the some of the best artists, developers, and geeks in the city.
Solarbotics will have a booth too, so be sure to drop on by to see some of our latest projects. And Chris Gilroy, our resident coder extraordinaire, will also be presenting his custom keyboard project. BEP Application: Pummer
The following instructions detail how to build a simple pummer using a BC2 (Bicore) BEP (Bicore Experimenter PCB). A pummer is a solar powered self activating LED flasher. The difference between a pummer and a BLFNAR (blinky light for no apparent reason) is that a pummer has a soft turn off, which means that it turns on fast, but slowly fades away.
