We gave Grant a bit of the afternoon to put together a demo robot using the GM10. What project? Ah, the venerable Herbie, of course! Construction details (and a big pic) are on the motor detail link. Oh, and there's a video too! Read More...
Psst. Hey, you. We're about to show you Something Cool, and then we're going to show you some New Stuff. But, as it turns out, we're running rather low on Something Cools. This is where you come in - send us your projects! Seriously, we absolutely love to see what everyone uses our parts for or how they put a unique spin on some of our project ideas. If you're working on something and want to expose it to everyone that visits Solarbotics, drop us a line to let us know what you're building or have completed.

You can now do one of two things: Send us your projects or have a good weekend. Or you could do both. Okay, that's three things.

Pinhole projector boxes were made out of cereal and shipping boxes: Fancy ones were mounted onto a tripod, and a phone camera recording a time lapse video was taped […]
From the BEAM mailing list, we're happy to report that Tom Gray managed to win 1st at the NAIT robotics challenge in Edmonton!: "Thanks again to all who endured my wails and made helpful suggestions earlier this year when I couldn't get my BS2 brained Sumovore to run. " "Grant M. of Solarbotics finally traced […]
