We like to have some play time at Solarbotics, and the "Bare Bones Photovore" is the results of one of these play sessions. It's a very simple (amongst the simplest, we'll hazard to say) light-seeking solar-powered robot, and find it easy to build using the Bicore Experimenter's PCB.

We're happy to announce another variant of gearmotor. Like the GM2/GM3 but with a gear ratio of 143:1, they run approximately 175% the output speed! - these are ideal for applications like minisumos, linefollowers and other wheeled devices. BEP Documentation Correction...
Just a quick note for those of you who have been trying to build the SC1 Servocores with the 0.01uF capacitors as listed in the parts list. That's an error! 0.1uF is just fine. Documentation has been revised accordingly. Sorry for the error!
