We like to have some play time at Solarbotics, and the "Bare Bones Photovore" is the results of one of these play sessions. It's a very simple (amongst the simplest, we'll hazard to say) light-seeking solar-powered robot, and find it easy to build using the Bicore Experimenter's PCB.

When winter settles in around these parts, daylight doesn't seem to last too long. So like moths we tend to get excited about the new bright and shiny toys we bring in. Today we have Super Bright LEDs - they're the nifty little units we put in the HexPummer Lantern to create that extra pulse of brilliant light. Right now we have two flavours available, white and blue. They come in the same sized package as our other LEDs, measuring around 35 x 5 x 5mm, but are a step up from our other Ultra Brights.
