Holiday Shipping

Another year has snuck by, and here we are on the cusp of another winter holiday season!

If you want to give a Solarbotics Kit (and we hope you do...) to somebody special this year, you should be aware of our shipping deadlines. It's not recommended to use ground shipping now (which can take up to 3 weeks), so unless if you celebrate Ukrainian Christmas (January 7th), go with these guidelines:

  • For US orders, your option is Purolator/DHL Courier (2 business days, so Wednesday the 20st by 2:00pm MST at the latest!).

  • Domestic (Canadian) orders get an extra day or so leeway. For Western Canada your options are Xpresspost (2-3 business days - Dec.19) and Purolator (1-2 business days - Dec.20 before 2:00pm MST).

  • Eastern Canada should use Purolator (1-2 business days - Dec.20 before 2:00pm MST).

  • Atlantic Canada can use Purolator (1-2 business days - Dec.20 before 2:00pm MST). International orders even have less time, so check your list and get your shopping done!

Wednesday Cool Links: Light Stuff, Edibl...

As of early September the trees learned how to shed leaves. They were so graceful and efficient, that I start to wonder if they have an MFA in Shedding Leaves. Now, the question is - did they create this white stuff that now lies on the ground as well? Because if they did, they didn’t […]

Cool project

Neil Sandstrom from the BEAM mailing list recently posted a notice about his "ShokHead" circuit built from our tutorial. What makes this project a bit different is that he mounted it on a VPM motor, so it's all self-contained. Here's what he says about it: Just finished!!! Check it out it is really small!! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/beam/files/Psyclesam/ […]
