Rory Nugent (of Solar Xylophone fame) has posted his thesis presentation to the Interactive Telecommunications Program, which heavily features BEAM devices. By "building things with a sense of life", he's documenting what we've known for a good while - autonomous devices ("pets") offer unusual interesting relationships. Keep up the good work!

Some of you may have found the LightStorm Pummers that Mark Tilden has made using some neat looking plastics. We've built our own variation of the circuit, which is a dark-activated, quad-bicore pseudo-random chaos generated, dual pummer circuit.

So when we created the Arc Reactor project to show off at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, we also quickly put together our version of NeoPixel Goggles. We now carry the goggles and NeoPixels that fit them, as well as two other sizes of these amazing addressable RGB LED  rings.

Solarbotics is pleased to be bringing Wilf Rigter to the Western Canadian Robot Games this April 6 &7. Anybody familiar with the BEAM mailing list will undoubtably recognize the contribution Mr. Rigter has made with his plethora of circuits and ideas. Come out and meet the man behind the email!
