Cool! We've found some SC3782 (37x82 mm) solar cells! Since Panasonic ain't making these anymore, and there aren't many of these left, you'll only find them here at Solarbotics until they're all sold out. Get'em while they're hot!
This week we did get our hands onto that shelf full of new product that was waiting patiently for its grand appearance here on the front page. Well, the product there wasn't that abandoned and lonely, technically - there's a bunch of stuff there to entertain itself. Like cables can hang out with other cables, and data loggers can log... datas, and driver motors would play in the corner by themselves because they are grumpy loners like that. And batteries can charge all the things with... enthusiasm… Ugh, gotten carried away a bit here. Don’t listen to me, check it out for yourself:

Just to finish this post off, I need to mention - I do realize that these are, in fact, inanimate objects that are inert unless someone or something applies force to them. But I cant avoid to anthropomorphize things. And that's it for this week - we'll see what the next one brings our way. Stay tuned for more.

Inspired by the Ice Bulb published on Instructables, we decided to create our own version. Ice bulb suggests that we use a balloon to shape the ice and before it freezes, add an LED so that it can glow. Since we decided to use a whole bunch of LEDs (on a string), we opted to […]
So... We've finally decided to go all-out and bring over all the inventory from HVW Tech and integrate it into Solarbotics. This is a pretty big undertaking, and as such you're going to need to tip toe around the construction tape and sawdust while we re-arrange everything. How will this effect you? First off, we're […]
Our GM2 gearmotors are powerful, and just a bit slower than a standard servo, making them ideal for a walker. But for you folks who like wheeled robots, these are simply too slow. Solarbotics' own Grant McKee to the rescue! We barely had the motors opened 10 minutes before Grant figured out that these motors […]
