We apologize for the late Friday Product Post - Friday night our brains were temporarily eaten out by rabid flying honey badger monkeys. The brains are now successfully returned into place, and here's the freshly renamed Early Monday Product Post.
Oh, look, text! It has letters! And words. And sentences. And clauses. And everything a text needs, like commas and periods... It doesn't look like someone randomly rolled their head or other body parts on the keyboard. It is generally readable... At least for the English speaking audience. Shocking indeed. Zendulums for Japan
Effective immediately, all the proceeds from the sale of Zendulum kits will be going to the Red Cross efforts in Japan. We'll change up the Zendulum laser artwork to note it as such shortly, and post the new pic. (Done!) Fractured Hinomaru inspired by James White's "Help Japan" poster.
Make Something Useless Useful Update
We've been trying to Make Something Useless Useful since 2012. In order to do that we've been donating a percentage of past sales of the Useless Box to Plan Canada. In year 2013 $5,000 went to Plan Canada' Gift of Hope School Construction in Honduras.
Ringo - the great-grandson to the Photop...
We were pleased to see the Kickstarter for Ringo, the Photopopper-ish but much smarter version of our own ~17 year old design robot kit. The video showcases some pretty cool behaviors, and is easily one of those projects where we think "Jee, why didn't we do that?"
