Just spotted this little piece on the new "beer-serving" robots coming out from Wow-Wee. I've seen their offices - you may find some Mr. Pibb and Root Beer, but as a rule, the strongest thing you'll find in the R&D fridge are some king-sized Coffee Crisps...

Winter is not quite here yet. But close. It’s the second day of the last day of summer in 2013 today, according to the calendar at least. So lets prepare to that early by making sure all the new products are looked at. Now, how that makes sense? I am not sure. This was just to get your attention.

Apparently all the other holidays are therefore deemed non-civic, except for this one. For that reason Solarbotics will be closed, and all the emails, phone messages and orders will receive all the due attention they need the next day.

Interesting Mini-sumo build
This mini-sumo design by Jeremy Bloyd-Peshkin features our wheels, and one of our favourite building materials, Sintra. We can't laser-cut sintra (PVC=bad stuff when burned), but milling it works well, as this builder shows.
