HEY! YOU! WE'LL BE CLOSED FOR LABOUR DAY AND THERE AIN'T NOTHIN' YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! BAHAHAHA!

*Ahem*

It's true. On the day called Labour, we will be doing anything but.  Why is that? Nobody knows. But a day off is a day off, so we ain't complaining. Standard stuff applies - we'll answer calls/emails and resume order processing/shipping on Tuesday the 7th.

Meggy Jr RGBDo you miss us already? Well, we have a lil' somethin' to comfort you. You like making things that use blinky lights, right? We've been working on adding some cool new stuff from Evil Mad Science for doing just that. Check out the Bulbdial, which is a neat-o clock that uses LEDs to cast shadows for the second/minute/hour hands. There's also the Meggy Jr.  RBG, which is a programmable handheld gaming platform. We'll try to get more Evil Mad Science up for you early next week, so stay tuned.

In the mean time, have a great Labour Daybour Weekend!

And who better to put out […]

What's particularly new is that they have sealed cylindrical gearboxes! Same sort of gearing, but no funky rectangular shape - just a nice, sleek, clean […]

Solarbotics at MakerShed

Yeah, you got it: at the Bay Area Maker Faire, on May 17 and 18, 2014. With some exciting new stuff. It requires sun, balls and mice. And no, it is not a solar-powered feline. It is much better. (Note: mice mention was only for confusion purposes, I confess). In any case, whatever it is, […]

BEP Application: Bare Bones PhotoVore

We like to have some play time at Solarbotics, and the "Bare Bones Photovore" is the results of one of these play sessions. It's a very simple (amongst the simplest, we'll hazard to say) light-seeking solar-powered robot, and find it easy to build using the Bicore Experimenter's PCB.
