HEY! YOU! WE'LL BE CLOSED FOR LABOUR DAY AND THERE AIN'T NOTHIN' YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! BAHAHAHA!
*Ahem*
It's true. On the day called Labour, we will be doing anything but. Why is that? Nobody knows. But a day off is a day off, so we ain't complaining. Standard stuff applies - we'll answer calls/emails and resume order processing/shipping on Tuesday the 7th.
Do you miss us already? Well, we have a lil' somethin' to comfort you. You like making things that use blinky lights, right? We've been working on adding some cool new stuff from Evil Mad Science for doing just that. Check out the Bulbdial, which is a neat-o clock that uses LEDs to cast shadows for the second/minute/hour hands. There's also the Meggy Jr. RBG, which is a programmable handheld gaming platform. We'll try to get more Evil Mad Science up for you early next week, so stay tuned.
In the mean time, have a great Labour Daybour Weekend!

Congrats out to Grant, for bringing his "Ender's Wraith" to first place in the advanced mini-sumo category at last weekend's Seattle Robothon. We also picked up an award for "Most Unusual Robot" with our Turbot prototypes! Additional to that, a Solarbotics Sumovore ("Oops" by Kristina Miles) won the amateur mini-sumo category!
Grant McKee has been working hard using BEPs in a good many applications around the office, so we've got him to put together a simple application of the BEP - the Pummer nocturnal Strobe. We'll be posting other BEP applications under the 'Special Projects' gallery, so check back once in a while!
