Before we jump to the new product announcements, we need to tell you that we will be closed on Monday August 3rd (wait, what, it's already August?!) to celebrate something called a National One of the Many Long Weekends Day - I mean Heritage Day. Friday New Product: Grove Stuff
New today is the Grove series from SeeedStudio. What makes Grove different is that is very modular, making quick-prototyping quite rapid. Usually this is an expensive feature. The rule of thumb is "Price, Speed, Quality - pick any two", but Seeed has made the 3 curves match just right.
Make Something Useless Useful Update
We've been trying to Make Something Useless Useful since 2012. In order to do that we've been donating a percentage of past sales of the Useless Box to Plan Canada. In year 2013 $5,000 went to Plan Canada' Gift of Hope School Construction in Honduras.
