Victoria Day Holiday

Dave Hrynkiw
May 21, 2004
Monday May 24 is Victoria Day in Canada. We'll be using the old Queen's Birthday as an excuse to twiddle our toes in the grass and watch robots roam free. We'll be back to work Tuesday morning, bright and early!

Hello? Hello?

Dave Hrynkiw
May 19, 2004
Well, that certainly was weird. Our telephone lines were having some problems earlier this afternoon, and some people were unable to get through. We would like to apologize and get this ironed out as soon as possible. If you can not connect during our business hours (0900 - 1800 MST), please leave us a message […]

May 18, 2004
We're sorry to say that our GM11 is presently sold out. We've got more on the way, but it'll be about another month until they resurface. Sorry!

The 2004 Robotgames are over...

Dave Hrynkiw
May 17, 2004
...and it was fun! Solarbotics was busy, showing off our new kits and gear motors, and shaking hands with a large number of our customers. We've had these for sale for a week now, and I haven't posted any news about them yet? What am I thinking? Ah, we were getting ready for the WCRG... never mind! Anyways, we've got these cool 6mm diameter 25:1 planetary gear motors now. They're smaller than our standard RPM2 pager motors! We've built a […]

Dave Hrynkiw
May 6, 2004
Cool! We've found some SC3782 (37x82 mm) solar cells! Since Panasonic ain't making these anymore, and there aren't many of these left, you'll only find them here at Solarbotics until they're all sold out. Get'em while they're hot!

New GM11-14 mounting screws

Dave Hrynkiw
April 29, 2004
BOY those are strange little screws on the face of the GM11-14 series of gear motors! 1.7mm diameter x 0.35mm thread pitch ain't a common bolt, but we found some 4mm long that we've made available for those of you looking for a precision method of mounting the motors. Check out part M1.7x0.35!

Order form shipping glitch

Dave Hrynkiw
April 17, 2004
If you're placing an order with us for a dimensionally small order and you're NOT getting the ground mail option, it's most likely due to a bug we're trying to isolate. If this is the case with your order, please use the comments field during the checkout process to indicate "Ground shipping requested". Sorry about […]
