This is a neat little one-chip circuit we originally tuned for use with our "SM1" Stepper motors. We've presently sold out of the motor, but this circuit has proved to be a good unidirectional (1-way) driver for small stepper motors.
Aleph Objects (Lulzbot) is still alive! ...

Update: Additional information from the Loveland Reporter Herald
We've been big fans of Aleph Objects' 3D printers. They fit that sorta "Prosumer" niche. A bit better than kit-builds, not quite as expensive as the big professional units.
We were disappointed we got the call a few months ago relating that Aleph was looking to shut down or change hands, as we supply the local Calgary school board with 3D printers, and the Aleph series was a solid part of that commitment.
Now we've just received the following newsletter. I can't find a post on the Aleph Objects site (yet), so here it is, verbatim:
We are pleased to announce that the assets of Aleph Objects located in Loveland, CO including the well-known LulzBot 3D printing brand, have been acquired by Fargo Additive Manufacturing Equipment 3D (FAME 3D), a Fargo, ND company.
Grant Flaharty, CEO of Aleph Objects, and now FAME 3D says this, “LulzBot is one of the core leaders in the Desktop 3D Printing Industry. FAME 3D is continuing the open source legacy for its customer products. Now with solid financial backing, we can continue with cutting edge innovation, high quality long-lasting printers, and product advancements aimed at providing industry-leading solutions.
LulzBot will be placing a renewed effort on customer support and responsiveness to customer feedback to help improve its current and future product offerings.
The LulzBot TAZ Worhorse, TAZ Pro, and Mini 2 3D printers are the recipients of numerous industry awards and are available for order now.
Haven't found much out about FAME3D yet, but we're glad to see they are carrying on the Lulzbot line!
