A low voltage high current rectifier diode, useful in applications where a low voltage drop is required.

Description [Hide]

This low voltage drop high current rectifier diode is useful for solar applications to prevent reverse current from leaking back into the cell when it gets dark.

It can handle up to 1A of current with maximum 30V reverse bias (much more than most BEAM applications will ever need). The forward voltage drop is only 0.22V at 20mA current! Compared to the 0.77V of a typical silicon diode at the same current.
