Sure, you can rip the telephone wires from your walls, strip them, and use them on your next breadboard project. But they will fatigue and fail at the worst time, like when you’re showing off your project at the next Dorkbot meeting. You can even use pre-stripped wire kits, but they’re best used for occasional use where you’re not likely to move the wires around much (they are solid-core too, and will fatigue and break).
