Why use cut telephone wires when you can use these great male-to-male 100mm jumper wires?
Sure, you can rip the telephone wires from your walls, strip them, and use them on your next breadboard project. But they will fatigue and fail at the worst time, like when you're showing off your project at the next Dorkbot meeting. You can even use pre-stripped wire kits, but they're best used for occasional use where you're not likely to move the wires around much (they are solid-core too, and will fatigue and break).
For a true breadboarding coolness, you have to use the Sparkfun 100mm (4") male to male jumper wires. These are high-quality cables, and when paired up with the female-to-female set, you get great 200mm (8") male-to-female extensions.
These come in a package of 10 jumpers, five pairs each of yellow, green, blue, black and red wires.
|Warning! These are so cool, you'll never go back. Or if you do, you'll be whimpering on how badly these regular wires suck. You've been warned!|
