Description [Hide]

NOTE: This item has been discontinued. The TSOP4038 is now it's direct replacement.

These very nice 38khz IR detector are often used for TV remote control, but we know better, right? These sensors are often hacked into a object detectors when teamed up with a suitable IR LED, providing a reflective range of up to 3 feet.

These sensors provide a very clean signal and won't even saturate in sunlight. Definitely an improvement over the old "Sharp tin-can" sensors!
