Here is a Pocket Marquee Bundle for setting up your own portable sign or displays. Design your own animations/messages and show them off wherever you go.

Description [Hide]

Here is a complete bundle - minus the microcontroller - to publicly display your creativity in lights! The bundle comes with a nice little enclosed acrylic box (with clear lid) to protect your electronics from travelling mishaps and over-handling. Shield stacking headers are also included in the bundle to raise the Lolshield closer to the top of the SAFE for a better viewing angle. The SAFE has mounting holes that line up with the battery pack holes so you can use the #4-40 x 1/4" screws to adhere the battery pack to the bottom of the SAFE for a neat and tidy look.

Choose your destiny! We have two color options which you can select, red or orange, that you'd like your SMD Lolshield to be.

Bundle includes:

1x Clear Acrylic Lid for the S.A.F.E
1x Solarbotics Arduino Freeduino Enclosure (Transparent Dark Red in color)
1x SMD LoL Shield
1x 5cell 'AA' Battery Holder With 2.1mm Barrel Jack
2x #4-40 x 1/4" Pan head machine screw
2x Fpin8L stacking header
2x Fpin6L stacking header

Last ingredient: Just add a microcontroller board that has Arduino compatible headers and charlieplexing capabilities and you are on your way. We carry the Arduino or Freeduino that meet these requirements if you don't already have one of these boards.

For more information on programming for the Lolshield you can check out Jimmie P. Rodger's website. And you can find a cool Lolshield display generator that can be found at the Lolshield Theatre website for all your quick animation needs.
