Unsure of how to interface RGB strips to your own microcontroller? Why not go with this ready-to-go remote controlled LED controller! Comes with a small remote that allows you to use wireless infrared signals to change the RGB strip color and lighting effects.
The Wireless RGB LED strip controller adopts an advanced microcontroller unit inside that can be used for controlling RGB LEDs. While being designed for RGB strip lights, it could be used to add effects to regular or high wattage LEDs. Use it to have full control over lighting up an edge lit display or sign, and change the color and/or effects whenever you like. If you can't physically reach your application to manually change colors, no worries. The included wireless remote control is quite helpful when your LED display is mounted in a precarious spot.
Using the remote control Red, Green, & Blue colors can be selected as well as 12 more color variants to instantly choose from. You can also display some dynamic changes in lighting by choosing one of the four selectable lighting effects: Flash, Strobe, Fade, and Smooth (be aware, smooth is anything but smooth) that can be speed/brightness adjusted too.
On the input there is a 2.1mm male barrel jack so it can hook up to our 12V 5A supply with ease (which can drive up to, and beyond, 5m long RGB strips). On the output it interfaces perfectly to the 12V RGB LED 5m strip as they share mating connectors.
