It's a convenient way to add 4 channels of major power-control to your Arduino with a minimum of fuss.

Description [Hide]

If you want to drive an inductive load, or AC, or DC, or mysterious load, you can't beat a relay. It just works. It isn't fast, but it sure is powerful.

This shield plugs directly onto a standard Arduino footprint device, and you have 4 relays at your command.

Note: Please ensure the back of the board is insulated before attaching to an Arduino main board.  The green terminal blocks can short out against a metallic surface like the top of the USB connector!

Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage 5V
  • Operating Current 130mA
  • Max Switching Current 3A
  • Power voltage: 4.75~5V;
  • Power consumption (at 5V): 180mA;
  • Limit relay operation to no more than 30 cycles per minute
  • Relay maximum ratings AC 125V@3A, DC 24V@3A
  • 70 x 54 x 26mm (2.76 x 2.13 x 1.02")
  • Weight 1.41 oz (40 g)
