The Lux Spectralis 2 is a deluxe RGB blinky that you can build, with over 30 flashing, blinking and glowing modes.
The new Lux Spectrlais 2 kit uses three separate LEDs for the red, green and blue color channels. This will make it much easier to modify for custom color combinations. The new PCB is a little bit smaller than the previous version. It uses electroless nickel immersion gold (ENIG) plating on all the electrical contacts.
The LED is controlled by a pre-programmed microcontroller (the Atmel AVR ATtiny13). It has over 30 flashing, blinking and glowing modes. You can use it as a night-light, a reading lamp, a strobe or just an all-around fun blinker. The Lux Spectralis comes with a 3xAAA battery holder with a cover and power switch. Three AAA batteries are required but not included.
Note: This kit contains small parts and requires soldering.
