Arduino BT

$149.95 ea.

The Arduino BT is an Arduino board with built-in bluetooth module, allowing for wireless communication.

Description [Hide]

**Discontinued by Solarbotics** Sorry, it's not been a sufficiently popular varient, so we're retiring it from our inventory. - October 6 2014

Arduino! Without wires! Plunk it down, turn it on, pair it to your bluetooth-enabled host, and you're tapping directly into your Arduino like it were cable tethered.

Because it is "mobile friendly" it offers the handy feature of a DC/DC converter that lets you run your batteries down to as low as 1.2V and still keep your Arduino alive. (But it is quite sensitive to over and reverse voltages - keep it below 5.5V!).

The Arduino BT features:

  • A surface-mounted ATmega168 running 16MHz
  • Pin 7 is connected to the reset pin of the bluetooth module
  • Extra two analog inputs available on pads 6 & 7
  • Up to 100' range
  • Default bluetooth ID of ARDUINOBT and passcode of 12345
  • Bluetooth chipset used: Bluegiga WT11 (iWrap version)
  • Onboard bluetooth serial communication is configured to 115200 baud. Host to Bluetooth speed can be any suitable baud rate.

The Bluegiga WT11 bluetooth module can be configured with commands set over the serial port from the ATmega168 (see the iWrap user's guide for details).

For specific details on the WT11 Bluetooth Module, check out this page at Bluegiga.
